Uz državne braniteljske počasti za veterane Domovinskog rata, zvuke domoljubnih i duhovnih pjesama, te katoličke molitve, Siščani i stanovnici okolnih naselja jučer su se na Viktorovcu oprostili od umirovljenog djelatnika MUP-a Marka Vukovića (84), koji je umro 23. siječnja.
U sisačkom SUP-u, odnosno Policijskoj upravi, kao Hrvat i hrvatskoj državi lojalni profesionalac unutarnjih poslova pokojni Vuković radio je i za početka ratnih događanja 1991. na zahtjevnom mjestu voditelja operative. Nakon smrti supruge Danice i umirovljenja, sa kćeri Željkom odselio je iz Siska u Poreč, a potom i u Slavonski Brod.
Uniformirani pripadnici, uime Policijske uprave, na Vukovićev su grob položili vijenac, a njegovoj kćeri Željki predali su, sukladno protokolu, državnu zastavu Republike Hrvatske s očeva lijesa. (J.F.) T
