Ove godine obilježava se 70-ta obljetnica smrti Bele Bartoka te 40-ta godišnjica smrti Dmitrija Šostakoviča – dvaju najznačajnih skladatelja prošlog stoljeća.
U ponedjeljak 30. studenog 2015. u 19 sati u Muzeju Grada Splita bit će održan koncert s naslovom
“Koncert za violu Bele Bartoka i sonata za violu Dmitrija Šostakoviča – dva glazbena testamenta XX. stoljeća”.
Izvođači su Wladimir Kossjanenko, viola i Vesna Podrug, klavir.
Koncert za violu i orkestar opus posthum jedno je od najvažnih skladbi Bartoka na poseban način reflektira katastrofu Drugog svjetskog rata završenog praktički istodobno s komponiranjem ovog djela.
U istom koncertu bit će izvedena i sonata za violu i klavir Dmitrija Šostakoviča. Kao i Bartokov koncert za violu, ovo je posljednja kompozitorova skladba koju je završio nekoliko dana prije smrti u kolovozu 1975. godine.T
