“Na poziv gradonačelnika Grada Rima Ignazia R. Marina, gradonačelnik Grada Zagreba Milan Bandić sudjelovat će, u srijedu, 1. listopada, na Sastanku gradonačelnika 28 glavnih gradova Europske unije što će se, pod nazivom Developing an EU Urban Agend održati u prostorima rimske Gradske uprave.
Susret u Rimu održava se tijekom predsjedanja Republike Italije Europskom unijom, nastavno na ranije sastanke u veljači 2014. i veljači 2013. u Briselu. Na cjelodnevnom radnom susretu, među ostalim, razmatrat će se dvije glavne teme: Potrebe glavnih gradova u kontekstu EU Urban Agenda – prijedlozi i zajedničke akcije te Kako unaprijediti stajališta vlasti na višu razinu u pogledu projekata EU Urban Agenda.
Izrazima dobrodošlice kolegama gradonačelnicima europskih glavnih gradova, Rimski susret će u 10 sati otvoriti gradonačelnik Rima, a nakon toga, uvodnim izlaganjem, ključnu misao iznijet će Johannes Hahn, povjerenik EU za regionalnu politiku.
Prema protokolu, uslijedit će izlaganja gradonačelnika, sudionika sastanka, a zagrebački gradonačelnik izlaganje će bazirati na prvoj temi: Potrebe glavnih gradova u kontekstu EU Urban Agenda – prijedlozi i zajedničke akcije.
Uz gradonačelnika Bandića, sastanku će prisustvovati i Jadranka Veselić Bruvo, pročelnica GU za strategijsko planiranje i razvoj grada, Marijan Maras, pročelnik GU za energetiku, zaštitu okoliša i održivi razvoj i Valerija Kelemen Pepeonik, viša savjetnica u GU za strategijsko planiranje, koji će kao stručnjaci određenih područja sudjelovati u popodnevnom dijelu sastanka s kolegama iz drugih glavnih europskih gradova. “
TAJNI SASTANAK
Ova vijest uoči jednog od nekoliko ovogodišnjih Bandićevih odlazaka u Rim iz Ureda gradonačelnika odaslana je medijima. Ni prije ni poslije toga nije navedeno da je gradonačelnik u Rimu vidio i papu Franju. Točnije tajno je se sastao s vrhovnim poglavarom Katoličke crkve. Kao i sam susret za javnost je ostala tajna o čemu su razgovarali. Ono o čemu se dugo šuškalo dogodilo se u poslijepodnevnim satima u nedjelju 20. listopada. Uz gradonačelnika, uhićeni su prvi čovjek Zagrebačkog holdinga Slobodan Ljubičić i vlasnik Ciosa Petar Pripuz te još 16 osoba. Akcija je djelovala kao nekadašnje spektakularno uhićenje zločinačke organizacije. Velika predstava uoči izbora.
“Neka institucije sistema rade svoj posao”- kao mantru uz bivšeg predsjednika Stipu Mesića u javnosti je najviše ponavljao Milan Bandić. Slažemo se s njim, ali neka rade stalno, a ne uglavnom uoči izbora.
I Sanadera je USKOK uhitio uoči izbora, trebao je to biti glavni predizborni potez Jadranke Kosor i HDZ-a na parlementarnim izbotrima u prosincu 2011. Kasnije se pokazalo da je to njenom munjevitom uspjehu donijelo još brži pad, posebice u HDZ-u.

Već nekoliko mjeseci moglo ga se sresti širom Hrvatske i hrvatskih krajeva u Bosni i Hercegovini i Vojvodini. Bilo je jasno da ne želi ostati samo političar sa lokalnim dometima. I kad su bolji poznavatelji političkih prilika pouzdano znali da će svoju predsjedničku kanidaturu najaviti u zadnjem trenutku dogodilo se uhićenje.
Na portalu Tjedno već smo objavili komentar u kojem iznosimo da je Milan Bandić kandidat s ozbiljnim projektima iza sebe. Dok drugi nabrajaju samo afere, mi ponovno naglašavamo da ne treba zaboraviti ni sve ono dobro što će ostati iza najdugovječnijeg zagrebačkog gradonačelnika. Što je to u svom mandatu postigao Ivo Josipović? Nije uspio ponoviti ni projekt kao što je ZAMP. Stalno prvo mjesto u anketama popularnosti političara po tvrdnjama nekih ozbiljnih političkih komentatora je samo stalna prevara javnosti od strane određenih marketinških agencija.
Milan Bandić je na međunarodnom planu imao i brojne druge političke veze i mislimo da je svakako bio najopasniji predsjednički kandidat. I predstava koja se dogodila bio je zadnji trenutak da ga se uhiti prije nego što je službeno najavio predsjedničku kanidaturu. Nešto slično govorilo se i uoči posljednjih lokalnih izbora kad je Milan Bandić i po peti put postao zagrebački gradonačelnik. Oni koji manipuliraju istragama i uhidbama očekivali su da neće ponovno pobijediti na izborima, sada više ništa nisu prepustili slučaju i krenuli su u izbornu pobjedu po svaku cijenu uključujući i ovakve eliminacije osanijih kandidata.
No, nije sve gotovo Milan Bandić se može kandidirati za predsjednika i kao osoba u pritvoru.
