U tijeku su pripreme za najveći Thompsonov koncert ikad. Mega koncert na Poljudu označit će početak velike turneje “Ora et labora”. “Izazov je raditi takve spektakle i sretan sam da mogu promovirati svoje pjesme na takvim mjestima i pred tolikim brojem ljudi. Moj koncert na Poljudu 2002. godine bio je predobar, pun emocija i bio je to moj prvi koncert takvih razmjera uz jedan nedostatak – a to je travnjak koji tada nije bilo moguće dobiti. Sada imamo i travnjak i cijeli stadion. Montirat ćemo binu i scenografiju najveću do sada i bit će to svjetska razina. Želim svojoj publici priuštiti pravi spektakl i time im zahvaliti na potpori koju cijelo vrijeme od njih dobivam”, kazao je M.P.Thompson. Cijene za ovaj velebni koncert kreću se od 50 do 100 kn, što je i više nego prihvatljivo s obzirom na veličinu, kvalitetu i zahtjevnost organizacije tako velikog događaja.

U posljednjih nekoliko dana zasigurno ste primjetili kako mnogi portali, novine, televizije pišu i pričaju sve i svašta o Marku Perkoviću Thompsonu. To je samo još jedna u nizu organiziranih kampanja protiv M.P.Thompsona. Ovaj put, razlog napada je upravo veliki koncert koji se treba održati na Poljudu 30. lipnja. Uglavnom, nadam se da nećete ni ovaj put nasjesti na laži i provokacije, vidimo se na Poljudu!

U četvrtak 9. svibnja sklopljen je ugovor za stadion na Poljudu između grada Splita i M.P.Thompsona gdje će se održati veliki Thompsonov koncert. Thompson je sklopio ugovor po uvjetima kao i svi ostali glazbenici pa nema govora kao što to pišu neki mediji o besplatnom ustupanju stadiona. Thompson će uplatiti na ime Hajduka čiji je i vatreni navijač 100 000 kuna te pokriti sve troškove režije održavanja koncerta (koji nisu baš zanemarivi). Također (kao i puno puta do sada za bolnice) od toga koncerta Thompson će izdvojiti novac za donaciju KBC-u Split. Thompson se i ovaj put potrudio da cijena ulaznica bude pristupačna pa bi cijena ulaznica za sjever koštala 50, travnjak 70, a istok i zapad 100 KN.
